Soil is a limited and hence, very valuable resource which fulfills many vital tasks. Soils are essential in alimental supply, habitat and storage for water, and even as filter for contaminants.

The restoration of soil or clean-up of former waste deposits as well makes contaminated soils reusable and makes it possible to sustainably preserve them. After being successfully restored, uncultivated land that has been converted can therefore be integrated into the business- and natural cycle again which effectively reduces the demand for new areas.
Per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFCs) represent compounds that are created artificially. They exhibit a high persistence to decay which is highly damaging to the earth’s ecosystems. Nowadays, we can find traces of PFCs everywhere. They are to be found for example in the soil, groundwater and even in blood and organs of all kinds of creatures. According to the “Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry” (ATSDR), which falls under the “Center for Disease Control and Prevention”, CDC), PFC has a particularly negative effect on the development of the unborn child, the hormone levels and fertility of adults, as for example high cholesterol levels and it may cause other potential health risks. According to information from the environmental sample database and from areas in which the soil is monitored on a long-term bases give us more insights into terrestrial contamination levels: In deer livers from the sample database, amassed levels of long-chain perfluorinated compounds have been found while short-chain PFC’s can be discovered in leaves of beeches and poplars as well as in earthworms. These are significant indications that soils, spanning extensive data entries, have been affected by airborne contamination.
The restoration of these soils can result in significant costs and procedural challenges. Thermal soil treatment has been the only available and effective procedure to destroy PFC so far. The only alternative is to dispose the contaminated soil.
The methods currently in use to solve the PFC problem like active-carbon absorption, Ion exchange, coagulation, membrane-methods are complex, cost- intensive, and technologically difficult to execute. The temporal storage, coverage of the contaminated areas with canvas, or the conservation of the polluted soil doesn’t solve the problem either.

Mineral adsorbents disintegrate the perfluorinated compounds with aimed Ionic exchange reactions.
The Technology that cleans the soil of PFC and inactivates heavy metal compounds and other decontaminants by adding the reactant in the mechanical recycling process. The reactant that we developed to clean contaminated soil is used together with an automatic soil stabilizer that was designed by a well-known manufacturer.
In order to precisely decontaminate soil in its breadth as well as its depth, GPS data can be used, saved and recalled with our GPS guided system.
This enables the soil decontamination to be concentrated on to territorial hotspots. That way, the economical rentability is given.
